Interior design of the foyer, company restaurant and terrace
On the ground floor of the new product and development centre is the company restaurant with a serving and dining area, kitchen and return station. The high-quality company restaurant ‘ALPIN’ has a café area with terrace designed as an independent space, a place for communication. Away from the hustle and bustle of hectic office life, employees will find a place to meet and enjoy each other’s company in a warm, light-flooded atmosphere. In the restaurant, employees can enjoy a variety of exclusive spatial experiences in differently designed restaurant areas.
As well as being able to serve over 200 meals a day, the company restaurant also offers space for internal meetings, functions and events.
Employees are spoilt with culinary delights with a total of three menu stations and one buffet station.
The bright and spacious restaurant in the new product and development centre in Nesselwang seats over 160 people inside and 85 on the terrace.
The design and technology of Endress+Hauser is represented by the timeless, modern interior architecture. The space planning is open, airy and bright, with a flowing layout that connects and at the same time delimits different areas with different characters. This is emphasized by different ceiling heights. The interior design is strongly influenced by the Allgäu region and has a close relationship with nature through the use of natural materials. Wall panelling and furnishings are handcrafted in wood and a seamless terrazzo flooring is made of local gravel and sand, reminiscent of the local Nagelflu stone in its appearance. It is the combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern, timeless interior design. The soft, sculptural shapes of the walls, sofas and café bar reflect the hilly landscape of the Allgäu region. The terrazzo, furnishings, café bar and lighting give the restaurant an Italian flair.
